Hello! My name is Claire, and I am a university professor and instructional designer based in Los Angeles, California. As Professor of Musicology at Azusa Pacific University, I bring with me twenty years of experience in higher education. Within this role, I acquired skills in LMS Canvas, eLearning technology, curriculum design, mentoring, hiring, public speaking and presentations, leadership, recruitment and budgeting. As well as an educator, I have enjoyed a successful performance career in classical music that spans thirty years, and have experience with non-profit arts organizations, marketing, talent recruitment, and post production. My education includes a Doctorate in Early Music Historical Performance from the University of Southern California, and a Master's of Science in Instructional Design from California State University at Fullerton (projected completion, Summer 2025).
